What Can I Do at Home!?

It was so wonderful to chat with most of the parents yesterday over the phone. I am so happy that everyone from our class is healthy and doing well at home. If we didn't get a chance to connect please feel free to email me so that we can! The teachers are busy learning how to use Google Classroom and Google Meets to support learning moving forward. Homework & Blog

Please check the home page on the blog daily for important information. There will no longer be any homework sent home with the students each week. Instead, in an effort to reduce the amount of paper sent home, weekly learning activities will be posted to the weekly learning  tab. Please check this at throughout the week if you are looking for ways to practice learning skills at home. You are welcome to print some of these activities and complete them at home if you would like. The curriculum connections  tab will be where you can find the bigger ideas of what we are learning, the rationale behind it, and how it connects to the Grade 2 curriculum. If there are any questions please email Miss Nettleton.

Blackfoot People

We have been continuing to develop our understanding of the Prairie community in the past and those who lived before us. We have also been talking about the impact that the Europeans and the fur trade had on the Blackfoot community. Please continue this conversation at home.
